I tried to make a playlist online with all these songs so everyone can hear, but a lot of them would not show up in the search engines.
Nevertheless, these are some of the songs I've been listening to lately.
My favorite album right now is probably Regina Spektor's "Far."
I've listened to it a bunch of times, and the more I listen the more I love.

Celebration

So, I am a firm believer that when someone's time is over, it is overrr. Let me explain more clearly. For example, I volunteered at a Film Festival earlier this summer and saw, unfortunately, countless older women that had gone through too many plastic surgeries and were clearly oblivious to the fact that they were way, and I mean WAY, past the point where wearing short glittery prom dresses is acceptable.
Now I am not saying that Madonna is in the same situation, but I do believe she has been around a little past her prime and that maybe just settling down with her family and lover boy Jesus could be enough for this past middle aged superstar.
It's not like she doesn't have enough money.
With that said, I actually love her new song Celebration.
It is very Madonna, but still has a fresh sound that makes me want to get down and shake it.
I love her dress and her body is insane.
There are cameos by Jesus and at the very end a very short dance solo by her daughter Lourdes, who is totally cooler than all those Disney hos and is only 12 or 13.
I see her following in the footsteps of Zoe Kravitz rather than Miley Cyrus.
Anyway, check out the video, proof that maybe Madonna is right in thinking that she's still got it going on.

Time Flies...

Hello to my wonderful two or three readers that even remember I still exist.
I am a terrible, terrible blogger and have not updated this since March...6 months ago!!
I cannot believe I have neglected my blog for half a year.
I could have sworn it hasn't been this long.
I do blame getting busy at school for the start of my negligence, and then it was due to a lack of inspiration and plain laziness on my part.
I thought I would pick things up again when summer started since I have nothing better to do, but alas, the laziness stopped me.
I apologize to those that still care enough to continue reading my ramblings.

I go through fazes with Fashion, where I'm really inspired and up on all the latest trends and such, and then I'll go through a lull where, once again due to laziness, I stop researching and reading and fall semi-out of the loop.
I'm in the totally inspired faze right now, which I think is perfect for the coming Fall Season as this is when Fashion really kicks off.

As a start to my comeback for blogging, I'll share with you guys an article I just read from fashionista.com. It's a total inside look on the website Who What Wear!, which I am subscribed to and think everyone else should be too. Go check out the website before if you haven't, and then read this amazing article. It's really inspiring to see how the two women behind it started out, how far they have come, and what is to be expected for the future of this totally fab website.
