A Quick Break

I saw these and just couldn't resist blogging about them.
Their description from etsy:
This is a tree log-shape bolster pillow made in knit. And it is a imitation of a cottonwood tree log bitten down by beavers. The graphics on this pillow is knitted, instead of printed, in five different colors. The pillow cover is custom made using a specialized knit machine. The pillow cover can be easily taken off for washing.

Amazing or what?
Genius advertising with the crazy cute baby dressed up as the beaver.
Too precious for words.

Fashion Week pt. 2

Broke up the post so it wasn't too long:

Helmut Lang

This look is so simple and can easily be replicated by some good F21 digging, but I love the laidback feel it has and the so very skinny skinny jeans.

The top and skirt go so well together. I want them both.

Jenni Kayne

One of my favorite looks so far. I definitely can't pull this look off, but thank god for this girl who can.

I don't usually like the whole masculine look that much, but this is the perfect balance.

So easy, so perfect.

Vena Cava

No description really necessary.
These girls always rock it.

Excited for Day 2!

Fashion Week

Finally finished reading all the fashion blogs and updating myself on the craziness that is Fashion Week right now.
I'm exhausted!
But really wishing I was in NY to witness all of this in person.

Here are some of my favorite looks from designers that have shown so far:

Rachel Comey

Definitely would wear all of these pieces from this collection.
Everyone's saying some great things about Rachel Comey for what she did here.
Young, hip, fresh, perfection.

BCBG Max Azria

Perfect dress to just thrown on and look bangin in.

Love love love the sheer fabrics and the pretty Spring colors.
I want all these dresses.

Temperley London

So detailed in both the styling and the individual garments.
I could go on and on about each look but I don't want to bore everyone to death.
But seriously, so genius.
Blacks, whites, beads, statement accessories, just ah, swoon.

"A group of women from a Chinese militia batalion join the men for a marching drill as they rehearse for the National Day parade, in Beijing on September 7, 2009. China is planning a huge military parade and mass pageant in and around Tiananmen Square on October 1 for its National Day festivities."

How freakin amazing are those outfits?!?!
So rad.

Chelsea Lately

This interview is from July, but it's so good that I just had to post it.
This woman is a genius.
I watched her show religiously during school and it never, ever disappoints.
You have to check out Chelsea Lately on E! if you haven't already.
Chelsea Handler, the most likeable bitch on TV.

Freshmen 15

Emma Watson spotted being a normal college student at Brown University this weekend.
How jealous are you of these kids just chillen w/Hermione?
I know I wish that was my back she was sitting on.
I wish her all the best and hope people don't embarrass themselves by fawning over her like I probably would.

Amy Philips

Okay after the Rachel Zoe Funny or Die, I watched some other videos of Amy Philips and was blown away.
Seriously, she is brilliant.
This is a celeb impression reel by her.
Crazy good or what?
