Zoolander 2?!

I believe it was Owen Wilson who first told me about a potential "Zoolander" sequel. But this was years ago - I believe it was at the junket for "Wedding Crashers" - and have heard nothing of it since.

All these years later, the film's star and director, Ben Stiller, has confirmed plans to bring Blue Ice back.

The comic superstar, in London to promote the "Madagascar" sequel, tells The Sun "We’ve been trying to get Zoolander 2 together and we’ve had a few scripts. I feel that is the sequel I really would like to do some day because I like the original and I would make sure it was something new and worthy of it first".

Stiller also told the paper he's trying to get a third "Meet the Parents" up too.

Ah, I don't know if this is a good idea.
Sequels are never better than the original, or even close to being as good.
Except maybe Toy Story 2.

It's like a flashback to my childhood.
I always sang along with my mom when she sang depressing Chinese karaoke songs.
That, and Celine Dion.

Oh the horror

Reaction to David Archuleta losing American Idol:

I was right there with these girls.

Living My Life Faster - 8 years of JK's Daily Photo Project from c71123 on Vimeo.
This guy took pictures of himself for 8 years straight and compiled them together.
He doesn't change too much for the most part, but it's interesting to see the different looks he goes through.
I'm feeling kind of inspired now...

It's Britney Bitch

She's baaackkk.

Childhood Star

Dakota Fanning is glad she sacrificed a normal childhood to pursue her movie career - as the teenage actress always wanted to be different from her peers.

The 14-year-old shot to stardom in 2001's I Am Sam, alongside Sean Penn, and has since starred on the big screen with Tom Cruise and Julia Roberts.

And Fanning is adamant that she has learnt more from her movie experiences than she would have done as an ordinary schoolgirl.

She says, "I don't want to be normal. This is my childhood. I've been to Australia, travelled and learned about different cultures - some people never leave the country in their entire lifetime. My job has opened my mind up and enriched my childhood."

Ew, this girl has talked like an adult since she was 5.
So disturbing.
Definition of a childhood star, and I mean that in all the bad ways (if there were any good sides to that).

Shrinking Whitney

Woa.
I mean, I know Whitney is tall and always had slim legs, but it looks like she's lost a ton of weight doesn't it?

In other news, the new trailer for The City is rockin it.
I am soo excited for this series.
I'm over feeling sorry for LC and watching her get overly defensive about everything.
And I can't watch scenes with Speidi anymore without getting immediately pissed off.
This ship has sailed.

You go girl

If you've seen Christina and her weird performances these days, you might have, like me, thought she has lost her mind like everyone else in Hollywood eventually does.
This performance has totally made me respect her again.
So, so amazing.

Demi Lovato sings National Anthem

Um damn.
This girl is 15.

Husband flips out over mac & cheese

By Mark Young
The North Platte Telegraph

An unemployed 48-year-old North Platte man was arrested Saturday after police said he assaulted his live-in girlfriend with a cooking pot because he was upset she made him macaroni for dinner.

Donald J. Jacobs Jr., of 2300 E Philip was arrested by North Platte police responding to a call from the alleged victim. According to police investigator Dale Matuszczak, officers responded to the couple's home in Key Estates about 3:30 a.m. Saturday after the girlfriend contacted police saying she had locked herself in the bathroom and feared for her life.

"She had a cut on the bridge of her nose and a bruise on her face," Matuszczak said. "The apparent weapon was a cooking pot, and it must have been a significant hit because the handle of the pot was broken."

According to the police report, Jacobs was intoxicated and assaulted his girlfriend with the pot when he discovered she made macaroni for his dinner. The assault caused the food to be tossed throughout the residence, as he struck her with the pot, according to the report.

The police report stated that there was a child in the home at the time of the assault. Matuszczak said that police have had to respond to the couple's residence a number of times in the past.

I knew men were ungrateful, but this is just ridiculous.

How big is the whale?

Too cute.
I watched this over and over again.

That was totally me at a family wedding a couple years ago.
No joke.

Crazy video.

TRL Finale

Last night was the TRL finale.
Although I wasn't an avid watcher, TRL was definitely a constant in my life when I was growing up.
I taught myself the Genie in a Bottle dance because of the show!
It's really weird to me that it is now over.
Here's one of the performances from last night.

Brings back those 90s memories.

11 year old guitar prodigy

This is Sungha Jung.
He is 11 years old, and amazing.
Seriously I'm in awe.
I don't know that much about playing guitar, but it's not hard to see that he's so so talented.
Check out more of his videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/jwcfree

A quick break

Today is such a historic day for us Americans and it feels so unreal.
I feel very lucky to have been able to vote today, and I hope all of the people old enough to do so did.
I'm wishing so hard that when I wake up tomorrow, I will have some hope in our country and our future.
It's about time for change.

Riding Boots

I've wanted riding boots for the longest time now, and I haven't been lucky enough to find a pair yet.
The one's I've come across are either too expensive, or not cute.
I've been looking everywhere, from Payless to Nordstroms.
I ran across this pair from Urban Outfitters.
It's pretty simple and what I want...but it's $158.

Are they worth it?!
I really can't decide.

Alexander McQueen for Target!!!

"Target in March will launch a new fashion initiative called Designer Collaborations. The program will bring the styles of well-established designers to the mass merchant at typical Target prices. Alexander McQueen is the first on deck and will design a version of his McQ collection called McQ Alexander McQueen for Target. The collection will have rock 'n' roll influences and edgy details such as studs and tattoo-print fabrics. Designer Initiative is a separate program from Target's Go International, which focuses on young or emerging designers. Target said additional Designer Collections will be announced in the future. Each collection will be available in stores for a limited time".

omgomgomgomgomg, I am SO EXCITED.

The Soloist

Thanks to my wonderful friend So's blog http://sosreelthoughts.blogspot.com/, I came upon the trailer for The Soloist.
It looks really, really amazing.
I never appreciated classical music when I was younger, but now it's such a beautiful thing to me.
I should've tried harder at piano like my mama told me to!

Best children's costume, ever

I hope you all had a crazy good time celebrating Halloween!
On a last ghoulish note, how awesome is this girl's costume?

Amazing, and actually really scary.
I'm already thinking of my costumes for next year!

Would you buy this doll?

Um, creepy.
I can't believe this commercial was for real back in the day.

Just a quick work break

These adults are psyched.
Look out for the woman with the mom jeans sprinting towards the crowd with her hands in the air.

Marchesa

If I could have any designer create my wedding dress, it would be Marchesa.
Here's why:

I can't even use words to describe how amazing these dresses are.
Each one is so different, yet so clearly Marchesa.
Such works of art, seriously.
I'm always in awe.

Anna Sui

I loove the pattern on the dress.

This dress is so pretty. It reminds me of a peacock, the colors and everything.

So perfect for spring. I love these colors too.

So cute!!

Someone buy me these pretty dresses

Zac Posen

Love it love it love it. This dress looks so flattering, and like it would cover a bloated belly.
It's so pretty though; I can't stop staring at it.

I love all the drapey details.

J. Mendel

Soooo pretty right? Each dress fits the models like butta.

Toni Maticevski

The details. Gorgeous!!

The top reminds me of those glass window paintings.
And the skirt is so cool.

I want everything.

Christian Siriano

Amazingggg.

Like a work of art.

!!!!

He's definitely my favorite Project Runway winner.
So fierce.

Fashion Blunder

I am so embarassingly behind on Fashion Week, as you may have noticed on my lack of posts.
I had a lot of looks saved on my computer, and for some reason a lot of them weren't readable, so all of my hard work was put to waste.
I do have some left that work, so here we go:

Marc by Marc Jacobs

I love this whole look, the pop of the colors and the shape of the skirt.

So cute! Everything looks perfect together.

Too cool for school.
Marc always has the cutest stuff.

Badgley Mischka

Soo pretty.
The bottom of the dress looks like a bunch of feathers.

Gorgeous.

How to get girls

I laughed out loud.
Hilarioussss.

75% frosting, 25% cake

Yes, those percentages are correct.
This baby is almost all frosting.
Except...I don't know if I would even want to eat that.
A) because that is pretty much like pouring packets of sugar into your mouth and B) I'm not a big frosting person.
Replace it with some vanilla ice cream and I'm down.

Insect Sushi?!

Yes, you read the title correctly.
Some guy came up with insect sushi, as if raw fish doesn't freak some people out enough already.
I know sometimes insect-type food can be good, such as chocolate covered ants or something.
These....there is nothing that looks appetizing about these:

I'm guessing this one would be pretty juicy.

How do you bite into something like this?

Seriously.

It's great that the avocado or whatever that is looks like bug guts.

I think this insect had a little accident on the rice.

Yeah, I just threw up in my mouth.

Halloween Costumes

I still haven't really figured out what I want to be for Halloween yet.
I'm leaning towards a flapper.
I know a lot of people have the whole costume dilemma too.
If you're a food lover, maybe you would like to be one of these:

My worst nightmare.

Get the whole gang on it!

And for the kids:

So cute I can't even handle it.
